Pictures, puppies and boxing in boxers

“I thought you stayed away from anything that didn’t have pictures.”

- Col. John “Hannibal” Smith of the A-Team

Last weekend, after getting trounced out of an intense match of croquet, my brother Kevin and I were discussing writing, the internet and blogs. He had a particular beef with my previous posts: not enough pictures.

While I’m inclined to ignore Kevin (it’s hard to take somebody seriously who seems to spend most of his time playing Wii boxing in his parents’ basement in his boxers), I think he may be on to something. This blog needs more action, hence more pictures. In honor of his great advice, here’s a picture of my bro’ invading San Francisco’s Chinatown:

He’s never allowed back. If you look off in the distance, you can see myself and one of my other brothers, Tyler. Can’t see me? I know, the pic is a little small. Here’s an updated shot:

I’m laughing with you, not at you. Speaking of laughs, Kevin’s a comedian, and I must say that despite my previous knock on my brother, Kevin is an internet guru. He blogs, frequents the popular social networking sites and spends most of his time online checking out comedy and posting his own.

So what’s new in the Blue House? Puppies. Lots of them. Lindsay’s dog has nine of them. Here’s a pic of a few:

And here’s a pic of my new guy, Sherman:

And just to add another photo for you to gush over, here’s a pic of the second-cutest puppy in the group:

As of yesterday all but two had found homes. I picked up Sherman last weekend, and I’m happy to report that he’s a great companion. He never cries, he goes into his crate without complaints and — not counting the time he got into Kanye’s (my cat’s) food — he’s had no accidents. Since he was a stray, I’m excited to see how he turns out. I wish I could look into the future and see if he’s going to be a large, mastiff-type dog or a little yip-yip-type dog. I’ll keep you informed. I’m sure you’ll still be checking out this blog in a year just to see his pictures!

I thought you couldn’t find a date on datemypet.com because you didn’t have a picture? Liar.
