We had just moved into our first house. He served us well for nearly 3 years, even making the 25 mile trek to the new house 2 years later,until he too succumbed to the elements, and like Rusty, lost his leg. Once he became an amputee, we were no longer able to enjoy his char-grilled goodness, and had to retire him to the rust pile in the sky. We think of him often, his tender turkeys, and perfect ribeyes...he is gone, but not forgotten. Rest in peace old friend...now you have a new pal to play with.
